It would be a miracle

4 more weeks till the last day of school. Time flies by fast.Sophomore year could be my last colorguard season. I really need to get my grades up. I'm trying my best to get them up.In the beginning of the year my grades were perfect well besides math. When it got to the middle of the school year my grades just drop. I'm not proud of myself. I'm pretty sure no one is proud if there grade drop.If I'm not in guard my junior year then I'm going to try out for vollyball, I'm already tall.Instead i might just try out for softball. I was in softball for 7 years but its been like 6 years since I've played. I really miss it. I'm going to miss colorguard the most.My mom is going to put me in tutoring and take me out of guard because the tutoring is so much money. At first my mom said i can just ask my grandparents if they can help me pay for colorguard like just pay the rest of whatever is left that i didn't fun raised. Then all of a sudden she just said no your not going to be in colorguard...unless i raise up my grades which would be a miracle.

Junior year is finally coming up. Then this will be my 3 year in guard or , my sophomore year could be my last time ever performing. If it is.. I don't know what I'll do. What am I suppose to do after school. I would usually go to practice then go home and do homework, but I guess Ill just hang out with my friends I guess. My bestfriend  is trying out for caption. I honestly think she not going to make it. We have 3 captions , 1 main one and the others 2 are co-captions. 2 of them currently are graduating and the other is quitting guard so now we're going to have 3 new captions. I heard for the field season theme is going to be gladiators but now its about world I guess. Not everybody knows but it has world in it. Around the world? Disney World? World War 1? World War2?Hopefully is something intense.

Well, winterguard season is finally over. Next fieldseason! I cant wait for junior year to come. High school is going by so fast. This morning my friends in guard and I were talking about freshman year on how much we miss it! Freshman year was amazing. I never knew what colorguard was until I tried out and i made the team. Im thinking on doing it until my senior year. Im kind of scared for the future. Life is going by so fast.Its like when I blink we're already 2 years in the future.Being in guard is so amazing. Everyone on the team is like one big family.Im an only child so I pretty much consider everyone my sisters, and 3 brothers. I heard this year for field season the theme might be something strong and exciting and fierce. Im so excited! Excepted for the part where we have to go through band camp all over again teaching the same old thing and learning something new. Also Im not so excited that we're gonna be in the sun for 7 hours learning our drill.

,Ive should of quit

So this sunday we had a winterguard tournament. It went well...for the varsity because they got 2nd place. For us Jv we got..i dont even wanna say it..8th place out of 10th place. This year for Jv we keep getting 3rd place only once we got 2nd. Last year we would always be getting 1st place EVERY tournament. I dont know whats wrong with us this year. Is it because some of the rookies in guard suck or is it the lack of responsibility of not practicing on skills. I knew I've should of quit winterguard this year and have done softball instead.We found out that some of the coaches bribe the judges. We got 4thplace but since the judges got bribe we got 8thplace.  On the bright side this weekend we have a tournament in Las Vegas. Every one in guard is so excited. Besides the 2 people one in varsity and one one Jv. Hopefully it wont effect our score.

Well its been while since I did a blog. Its finally the new year(even though we're in the end of February). We finally had our first winter-guard competition. The competition was at our school,it was our first time hosting.Hosting for the first time was pretty fun,until it came towards the end of the day when the competition ended. Cleaning up after was nasty, picking up trash. Our Jv we got 2nd place. We could of got 1st place but we got a penalty so we lost by 1 point. Acouple people forgot not to cross the penalty line "the blue line". We were going up against many schools in Jv. We were also going up Magnolia's Varsity (there Vasrity is not really good so that's why they were competing against other Jvs). Magnolia's varsity won 1st place. We could of beat them but he got a stupid penalty!! We only lost by 1 point... Its sucks really. We have another winter guard competition tomorrow,Saturday, I'm really confident about tomorrow......not really.Some girls just like to mess around in practice. At practice its horrible, okay not horrible but its like a zoo. Some people listen some don't.

Starting to look like Winterguard

Well field season is over and its time to bring out the mat. I'm talking about winterguard, instead of calling it colorguard because we practice during the winter during Christmas time  and perform in the spring time. Colorguard is on the football field. While winterguard is in the gym using a big mat of any design we want. The design is usually painted by us, the performers. Band has there own thing like winter line, concert band, and others events that i cant remember what they are called. While band is doing there own thing in winterguard we use music. Any type of music, and of course the music has to be appropriate. For JV our theme is tango, JV is always some sort of sassy show. I'm not sure the theme about Varsity at first it was also tango but more mature. Then Brynt, our couch decide to change their theme. Varsity will know their theme once everyone in varsity pays the fair-share. If everyone in winterguard pays their fare-share we can do a tournament in Las Vegas! 

CHAMPS.

Well this week is champs and I'm pretty confident about winning. Except the school Chino is going to be there.At tournaments they always get SWEEPS. SWEEPS is better than first place. Well they don't always get SWEEPS, but it seems like they do all the time. This year for colorguard I thought we were going to suck! Turns out we don't suck! Of course I feel bad for doubting them.I'm glad the rookies (the new people that are in guar) proved me wrong. I didn't tell them that they suck cause I didn't want them to feel bad about themself. I see the rookies improving everyday, I'm really proud of them. I don't know what its like to be a sister because I'm an only-child.Ever since I joined guard I know what its like to be a sister now.There's always people looking up to  you and it feels nice knowing someone looks up to you as a friend,role modle,and sister.
